The Hunger Games: Perfect Date Night for You and Your Boyfriend!

?Are you and a significant other planning a movie date night for the Hunger Games? Not sure how to make it a perfect evening? Here are some suggestions to ensure that your night is not something to look back on in shame. For those of you who have not read the Hunger Games before indulging in the movie here is a short review.

In a futuristic world ruled by the rich the Hunger Games arise as punishment from a past uprising. Each of the 12 Districts is forced to produce two children, one boy and one girl, for the yearly televised event as tribute. The chosen 24 are then whisked away from their homes to the Capitol where they are exposed to a life of luxury, while they are trained, only to be cruelly dumped into the Arena where only one of them will survive the deadly games.

A lot of us enjoy theme dates. If you have not enjoyed this type of date then here is your chance. In the story, on the night that Katniss leaves from District 12 to prepare for the games, her family has a stew, berries, and bread. So, in order to start off the evening on the right foot you will want to plan to have a perfect meal before heading off to the theater. You will want make time for dinner at a nice Chinese or Japanese restaurant where they will have food that is similar to what is being served in the movie. After you have enjoyed the movie you can wind down by going out for a quick dessert. A great dessert to finish off a great evening and give you an excuse to stare at each other from across the table is frozen yogurt or soft serve ice cream with fruit, and by adding fruit seen in the movie you can keep with the theme.
